I was at a stage in my career where I felt uncertain about the direction I should take. I lacked a clear pathway and was unsure how to move forward. During this period of confusion, I had the opportunity to reconnect with my childhood school principal, Dr. Sreepriya Ashok. To my surprise, I learned that she is now a highly respected career counsellor. We had an in?depth discussion about my professional journey, personal challenges, strengths, and areas that needed improvement. Based on our conversation, she recommended that I undergo the Psychometric Assessment. I found the assessment to dig the inside out of myself, my strengths, my weaknesses, area of expertise, and I found the overall assessment to be a real eye opener. After reviewing the results, Sreepriya mam provided a clear explanation of where I currently stand and what steps I should take to advance, especially in the context of emerging technologies and the rapid growth of AI. Also, I was surprised to hear how Mam was able to identify my likes and dislikes right on point. She made me understand about the Career options that would cater to my needs and strengths; I sounded them very satisfying and aligned with my likes. The inbuilt student dashboard was invaluable, it offered a structured road map with respect to the career options identified for me. The career counselling session was extremely informative, well-organized, and thoughtfully conducted. It provided me with a much clearer understanding of the wide range of career opportunities available, and those that I would excel in. The detailed guidance on higher education pathways and essential skill development strategies was particularly valuable, as it helped me understand not only what choices are available, but also how to prepare effectively for them. I especially appreciated the counsellor’s approach of first understanding my individual interests and strengths before offering suggestions.
